IANA has around 1500 published TLDs (see here for reference). Based on our data collection and validation process, we have a count of just over 173 million registered domains. You can also download all domains known by us.
Other organisations have a higher registered domain count, with a total of around 240 million registered domains. We’re working on reducing the gap between our data and that count!
